Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Sabinoor account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets removed.

How to delete your account

From inside the app (recommended)

Open Sabinoor on your device.
Go to the Profile tab.
Open ⚙️ Settings → Account Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email

Email support@sabinoor.com from the email address on your Sabinoor account with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 7 days.

Heads up: deletion is permanent. Your streak, XP, achievements, gem balance, friends, and family-plan membership cannot be restored after deletion.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following is scrubbed immediately:

Email address and username
Encrypted password
FCM push-notification tokens
Subscription identifiers (RevenueCat user ID)
Your contacts hash data and any friend connections

The remaining records — learning progress, lesson completions, recitation scores, league standings, achievements — are permanently deleted within 30 days by an automated job. After that point, no record of your account exists in our systems.

What gets retained

Anonymized analytics. Aggregated usage data with no personal identifiers may be retained to help us improve Sabinoor.
Crash reports. Anonymized error logs (Sentry) without your account ID may persist according to Sentry's retention policy.
Subscription receipts. Apple and Google retain payment records independently. Deleting your Sabinoor account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that from your Play Store / App Store account.

If you have a family subscription

If you are a family head, deleting your account ends the family plan for everyone. Your invited members lose their inherited Plus / Al-Ihsan access immediately and revert to the free tier (their own accounts and progress are not affected).

If you are an invited family member, you can leave the family from your Family Hub without deleting your Sabinoor account.
